Introduction to Behavioural Insights
UNICEF
About
This online course has been designed to strengthen UNICEF’s ongoing work to strategically incorporate Behavioural Insights (BI) as a tool to promote the rights and well-being of every child.
Its main objective is that learners are able to describe how BI can be leveraged as a tool to boost the effectiveness of projects with government and internal partners, so they can approach programs and interventions with a BI lens.
This experience was developed as a self-paced course to be delivered through UNICEF’s online learning platform, Agora.
Gamifying the Learning Experience
As part of the online experience, a gamyfying learning experience was embedded by introducing a comic in which two characters share common queries learners could present, in regards to behavioral insights application.
The comic served as an engaging element to enhance the learning experience and to showcase common experiences learners face in their day-to-day work.
My role
Learning Designer & Course Developer
I worked alongside Unicef’s Social Behaviour Change Section and North Carolina State University BI experts to design the online learning experience. This included conducting a learning needs assessment, guiding experts on online content design and sharing best practices for online activities development.
In addition, I developed all multimedia material including content module, interactive lessons, infographics and activities.
