Stakeholder Engagement Program
Global Financing Facility - World Bank Group
About
This program seeks to strengthen the competencies of key actors involved in the stakeholder engagement process by providing knowledge and tools to expand in-country consensus around the Global Financing Facility (GFF) approach.
The main goal of this program is that participants recognize and reflect on the critical value that stakeholder engagement brings to the engagement GFF process and that they apply knowledge and tools for efficient stakeholder mapping and engagement.
The program includes an online self-paced course, microlearning resources, coaching sessions, guidance notes and customizable templates for their day-to-day work.
My Role
Instructional Designer
I was responsible for the learning needs assessment and design of the program, including the design and development of the online course, microlearning resources, working templates and a guidance note on stakeholder engagement.
Cognitive Task Analysis Approach
By following the Cognitive Task Analysis methodology, I elicited knowledge and identified best practices from SMEs and team members, to contextualize stakeholder engagement to the GFF approach.
I used this methodology to identify knowledge gaps and understand the most pressing and challenging tasks regarding this topic, focusing on the ones that require a lot of cognitive activity, decision-making, problem-solving and judgment, and which are not normally shared in a business-as-usual setting.
This practice allowed me to develop a tailored program design, as well as learning resources, which prioritize hands-on experience and real reflection scenarios.
